It was a great duck season for Mack. He totaled 52 retrives for the year. Although we strugggled on some days, we ended up way over our goal of 30 retrieves for the year. I was very proud of his performance, especially on the last day of the season where he retrieved our two man limit of 14 ducks, including two triple retrieves and one quadruple!

We had to break ice to set out the decoys on the last day. It was cold and sunny, the ducks did not start flying till around noon.

As a bonus to this amazing day, we got a banded duck. First time for me!
It was the last day of the season and the best day of the season for me and Mack!
